Formula Alfa Boxer Europa Single Seater race car



Hewland Mark 9, LD200 gearbox ”M” type gears with 1” spline layshaft.
Normally these M type gears are in the later model Mk 9 which can run upto 160 hp and aren't interchangeable with early model dog hubs. These gear ratio's are good for the LD200, 4 or 5 speed.


Note the dog notches don't go to inner bearing diameter,

Hewland Mark 5, NST, Staff Silent Gear gearbox std, ”M” or ”R” type gears with 1 1/8” spline layshaft.
The standard, M and R type gears are all dimensionally the same. The M & R are stronger and will handle more horsepower / torque.
